Though neighbors, Haiti and the United States are worlds apart. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, with 80 percent of the population living in abject poverty. With only $1,400 GDP per capita, too many Haitians are unable to provide basic education, healthcare or economic security for themselves and their loved ones. The Haiti Project is a nationwide fundraising and awareness campaign that will generate more than one million dollars to support critical humanitarian efforts in Haiti. The effort draws upon fundraising from public events, ticketed private events and grassroots donations. All donations to The Haiti Project are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.  A donation will bring us closer to our goal of raising five hundred thousand dollars to bring much-needed relief to the people of Haiti.
